We require a proven & competent Lead Instrument Engineer to join the Core Engineering Team &/or Project Management Team on a large Oil & Gas project in the Middle East.

As Lead Instrument  Engineer you will have senior and engineer grade electrical personnel under your responsibility and be tasked with their management & delegation of activities to them.
 
As Lead Instrumentl Engineer, reporting to FEED/Technical Core Manager or Project Head/Senior Project Engineer when within the PMT Teams, you will be in charge of the following tasks;

During Project Management & Control Phase: – input to scope control; preparing electrical packages; preparation of project schedule; provide input into cost forecasting; provides input into progress monitoring & control; participate in quality management control; provide & promote transfer of technology; provide proper reports for electrical equipment

During Tender Phase: – participate in tender preparation; attend pre-bid conferences; provide evaluation & analysis in regards to tenders

During Design Phase: – responsible for design criteria, drawing standards & conventions and design guidelines; responsible for engineering and design data & drawings; responsible for existing design data, drawings & specifications; review of all drawings, standards, specifications, engineering estimates and bills of quantity; inspect & audit progress and performance of electrical design consultants; attend periodic & design review meetings; provide input into pre-qualification and selection of suppliers of materials & equipment

During Construction Phase: – procurement and expediting support for materials & equipment; quality management support; attend periodic meetings with construction contractors; ensure company & government regulations followed; assist & support company in commissioning; participate in development and implementation of operation & maintenance procedures; review & check as-built drawings

Please Note: This is a residential role. Most senior staff live in Kuwait City and commute to the project site offices located in KSA.

Lead Instrumentl Engineer – Candidate Requirements:
* Degree Qualified ESSENTIAL
* Chartered Engineer Status PREFERRED
* 10+ years proven track record in similar lead/senior role on major oil & gas, onshore & offshore projects
* Proven abilities in supervision of all project phases from concept, FEED & detailed design through to start-up

Lead Instrument  Engineer – Terms & Conditions:
* Salary US $168,000 per annum Tax Free
* Accommodation/Living Allowance US $3500 per month
* Kuwait City Living Base
* Residential Role on Accompanied or Single Status
