Rate USD 50k basic salary per annum Type Contract Location Oman Region Town Required Residency Posted By TQ Date Posted 10 Mar 2013 Expiry Date 15 Apr 2013 Job Reference Job Description Experience and Qualifications Required Work based experience in industrial environment Specific extensive experience in two or more of the following areas: Process Control/DCS, industrial installation, hazardous areas, offshore/O&G Achievement of or working towards teaching qualification and QTLS/ATLS Must hold A1 or D32/D33 with A1 update or significant progress towards achievement Desirable to hold or work towards V1 or hold D34 with V1 update Ability to deliver across the range of instrumentation curriculum outcomes Appropriate technical qualifications Responsibilities: Undertake safe, effective delivery of technical and competence based qualifications to all learners in the centre, on clients’ premises in the UK and overseas. Deliver discipline specific provision within TTE Short Course Directory in the UK or overseas to commercial customers. Develop schemes of work/lesson plans aligned to qualification outcomes of the relevant awarding body Be responsible for the “pre course/module” preparation to ensure all materials and resources are available at the scheduled start time of delivery. Ability to travel overseas with appropriate notice The ability to work flexible hours as required to meet the needs of the business and customers Ability to perform consultancy services direct to client companies within a designated scope both in the UK and overseas Ensure that all training equipment is fit for purpose and complies with relevant safety standards
